Boston has improved since their last meeting, but they’ll need a repeat of last Sunday’s game against LA, where they weren’t bitten by a bunch of unforced errors, to have a fighting chance. SF’s Kelsie Whitmore, in the middle of a heated home run race, will try to break the tie with her NY’s Denae Benites.

Lady Kennedy will perform the national anthem. Carol Fischer and Mark Sherman, grandchildren of baseball pioneer Ida Schnall, will deliver ceremonial first pitches.
